WHY IS IT GOOD TO ME?

I love my job. I feel so lucky to have had the oppurtunity to do what I do and get paid for it!

AMAZING.

So why do I think it is so

good?

WELL... 1: it keeps me young and gives me an excuse not to grow up...

2: It gives me an amazing balance of responsibility and fun. Of course when people are involved you have a lot of responsibilty but then because its young people I have a responsibility to make people happy.

3: It has helped me become a lot more organised. I have to makesure i make a note of everything. I keep a diary and cannot miss things or it would be letting someone down.

4: The young people make me laugh a lot...

NOTEBOOKS ARE GOOD... (not the laptop.)

NOTEBOOKS...
I have so many! I seem to buy them all the time and don't think I have completely filled one. There is something about opening up a clean new page and making the first mark. Also as a designer and student having a notebook encourages organisation and (linking with doodling) helps me to work through some ideas when I am sat not knowing what to do with my self.
They come in all shapes and sizes, colours and materials.
I don't think I could live without mine.
My plan is to find as many different notebooks as I can and try to get them all on here.
I shall take photos of all the ones I have at home and around and also the difference between a new one and a used one.
I want to try and look into how they first came about but I think that is going to be hard to pin point.
Possibly look further in Moleskine books and why they seem so special (expensive!) .

Rounders is very good.

Just been spying at rounders leagues around the country and there are so many. Sadly not a national one though and they all tend to be ladies.  I shall come back with more details soon enough.
Have asked around a bit also about rounders- whether people like it and why. simple... but gets them talking. again... shall report back.

I have decided...

Rounders - Because I have ALWAYS loved it.
Youth work - Because I do it all the time and it is FUN
Patterns - They are EVERYWHERE
Doodling - I can't seem to STOP doing it.
Note books - Because I never stop buying them and always come in handy.

As you have probably guessed, I have just decided to write down lots of things that I think are good.

Sadly I now have to break this down to just 5 things....
